It’s become something of an Artroom fixture at this time of year, for us to have a famous artist making a special visit through our doors to encourage and inspire our pupils with a demonstration and talk about their own successful careers. Such artists who have been here in the past include Pure Evil, Axel Scheffler, Chris Riddell and of course Ralph Steadman.

This year we are thrilled to be able to announce another very special guest joining that illustrious list this coming November 28th: the hugely successful English artist, designer and publisher, Roger Dean, whose iconic and distinctive artwork is recognizable across the world on posters and record covers for a host of multi-million album selling musicians, including “Yes” and “Asia.”

We at Artroom feel sure there will be more than a few parents out there who will recognise Mr Dean’s amazing, unique artwork and name, even if he might be something of a voyage of discovery for our pupils; LPs featuring his work are to be found in the record collections of more than one member of the Artroom faculty, that’s for sure!

To tie-in with Mr Dean’s visit, our next half-term course will be based on his artwork, which means that by the time he does arrive to meet our pupils they will be well up to speed with his incredible imagery.

For anyone interested in enrolling their child on this course, please get in touch with Seb.
